Smriti Mandhana was left in fits of laughter when a fan asked her a hilarious question on live television.

During the quiz show, a fan addressed the star India cricketer and highlighted that several young Indian men follow her across different social media platforms.

Considering that, what qualities would she be looking for in her ideal man?

After a brief chuckle, Mandhana replied, “I wasn’t expecting this question, of course” and added, “He has to be a good guy, who would care for me and understand my sport. These are the two qualities that I would want”.

Mandhana also spoke extensively about her cricket journey.

She mentioned how her father was deprived of a cricket career by his parents and it motivated him to provide complete support to his children.

Mandhana, who is a mainstay of the Indian team, revealed that she began as a right-handed batter before switching to being a leftie. Her brother played a major role in this decision because she used to watch him, standing behind the practice nets.

Mandhana and Kishan participated in KBC to raise money for the Differently-abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI).

While speaking about the organisation, Kishan said that he would love to help them in any way possible.

Kishan last played for India during a T20I game against Australia on November 28 in Guwahati.

Meanwhile, Mandhana played a major role in India’s maiden Test win over Australia in Mumbai recently.

Mandhana scored 74 runs in India’s first innings to help her side to a mammoth total of 406 runs. India also displayed a phenomenal bowling performance in the match to curb the visitors at scores of 219 and 261.

Sneh Rana was the most impactful bowler, taking a seven-wicket haul.

Mandhana also struck the winning boundary to seal India’s historic victory over Australia in women’s Test cricket. She finished the final innings with an unbeaten 38 runs.

Mandhana is going to be an active part of the Indian team that is set to compete against Australia in a three-match ODI series. The first match starts on December 28 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
