In a shocking incident from Bihar’s Patna, a student of class 12 attempted suicide by jumping off the roof of her apartment. The girl was saved in the nick of time by a young man. The entire incident was caught on camera which showed the girl sitting on the roof of her apartment before jumping off it.
According to reports, the girl failed her 12th standard exams and was allegedly in depression which led her to take the extreme step.

The girl was saved by a young man before she hit the floor. She is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries.
In a similar incident, a 24-year-old postgraduate student of AIIMS Patna allegedly died by suicide in his hostel room earlier this month. The deceased, identified as Nilesh Kumar, a resident of Gurgaon, was a first-year MD student in the department of anesthesiology at AIIMS Patna.
“His colleagues wanted him to accompany them for a cup of tea and knocked at his door. Getting no response, they broke open the door and found his body lying on the bed,” a statement by AIIMS Patna said.
On the other hand, another student died by suicide in Rajasthan’s Kota on September 28. A total of 26 students died by suicide in Kota this year.
The deceased was identified as 20-year-old Mohammad Tanveer, a resident of Maharajganj in UP. The father of the deceased student also lived with him. He was a teacher at a coaching institute in Kota. The police have not yet revealed which competitive exam the student was preparing for.
