A resident of Bokaro, her face was disfigured by three persons in Dhanbad when she was just 18 years old.

Ranchi: Jharkhand government on Thursday decided to give a job to a woman who survived an acid attack by three persons a decade ago.

The Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, approved the proposal for giving a class-III job to Sonali Mukherjee, Principal Secretary (Cabinet Coordination) JB Tubid said in Ranchi.

A resident of Bokaro, her face was disfigured by three persons in Dhanbad when she was just 18 years old. She underwent multiple surgeries after the attack.
