New Delhi: Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid questioned senior BJP leader LK Advani's knowledge of the judicial system on Wednesday. He said that Advani should know the principle of subjudice before asking for a parallel trial in the 2G spectrum allocation case.
"Advani wants a parallel trial in 2G. He should know the principle of subjudice. We can't discuss what is happening the court," Khurshid.
Khurshid added that the Supreme Court has said that the 2G reporting in media should be categorical.
"The Supreme Court has categorically said that even the reporting in media should be categorical," he said.
Khurshid's reaction came after veteran BJP leader Adavni hit out at the Prime Minister on the 2G note issue, demanding answers on the PMO's role in the controversial case.
"The country would like to know the full facts of 2G spectrum scam. What is PMO's responsibility and the then finance minister's responsibility should be disclosed to us," Advani said in Panjim.
Advani referred to the latest disclosure about the controversial finance ministry note on the 2G scam that led to differences between two senior ministers in the UPA government, Pranab Mukherjee and P Chidambaram.
