BJP expels ex-Madhya Pradesh minister Raghavji from party following sodomy allegations
Raghavji had resigned on Friday as the MP Finance Minister following allegations that he sodomised his domestic help.

Bhopal: Following sodomy allegations, the BJP on Sunday removed its controversial former Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Raghavji from the party. The announcement was made at a press conference by state BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar.

Raghavji had resigned on Friday as the Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister following allegations that he sodomised his domestic help. Raghavji resigned after a complaint was filed by a member of his domestic staff, alleging he was sodomised by the former minister, who had promised to get him a permanent government job. State Congress leader Ajay Singh later demanded security and government job as compensation for the victim.

CNN-IBN had accessed the CD that allegedly showed Raghavji and his aides sexually abusing the domestic help. Raghavji had denied sodomy allegations and added he was not aware of the CD. "The boy left a month back. If he has put any such allegations of sodomy against me, they are all baseless," Raghavji had said.
