BJP to move notice against Rahul for using phrase 'fair & lovely', says it's racially discriminatory

New Delhi: In a bid to embarrass Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to move a notice against him for using the phrase 'fair & lovely' in his speech in Lok Sabha.
The BJP is of the view that use of 'fair and lovely' is racially discriminatory. The BJP is planning a nationwide campaign against this statement.
During Motion of Thanks to President for addressing joint session of Parliament, Rahul had said the Narendra Modi government has launched a 'Fair & Lovely' scheme to convert black money into white.
"The Modi government launched a 'Fair & Lovely' yojana, to convert black money into white. Modi ji had promised that he will put people with black money behind bars, now they have come up with way to save those people," Rahul had said.
The move came as Congress with other opposition parties is taking on the government on a host of issues.
