New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday appealed to the members of Parliament for a constructive debate during the Budget Session.
Talking to mediapersons just ahead of the session, Modi said, "Today the Budget Session begins. There should be constructive debate on every issue in this complete session."
He said the Budget session is important for both the government and the people. "I had met leaders of all the political parties and heard them. The Government will try to hold discussion on every important issue related to the country."
The PM hoped that the Budget Session would be very constructive and said the government's effort is to hold discussions on every important issue of the country.
Modi said this is the first time that the NDA will be presenting a full Budget. The government wants discussion on all issues and poor people of India should benefit out of these discussions. "It is important for the country. I am hopeful that this session we will a good and cooperative atmosphere," he said.
