CBI issues 30 fresh notices to Jagan Mohan Reddy
ED officials reportedly met the CBI officials in Hyderabad on Wednesday in connection with the cases.

Hyderabad: The CBI, investigating into the cases relating to YSR Congress Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Emaar Properties land deal, on Wednesday issued 30 more notices to various firms and individuals.

"The process of examining of the accused (who were earlier served notices) is going on. As part of investigations about 30 more notices have been issued today in connection with both the cases," CBI sources said.

Meanwhile, Enforcement Department officials reportedly met the CBI officials in Hyderabad on Wednesday in connection with the cases.

The CBI which has been investigating two cases relating to investments by various firms into the businesses of Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy, son of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and alleged irregularities in the APIIC-Emaar properties land deal has also questioned different persons so far.

The CBI after registering cases against Jagan and Emaar land deal on August 17 conducted searches for three days at different locations, including the MP's residence besides office premises of those investing companies.

The ED had on Tuesday registered cases under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act against Jagan and 73 others who have been listed as accused in the CBI FIR. Similarly, the ED registered Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) in connection with the APIIC-Emaar land deal.

With regard to Emaar deal, CBI has conducted extensive searches at the residence of B P Acharya, senior IAS officer and former Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), and the office of Emaar here and also seized certain documents.

The scrutiny of the seized material including documents, laptops, hard-disks were on, CBI sources said.
