New Delhi: The Congress has set up a committee to probe the flood relief scam involving its Karnataka state unit which was first brought to light by CNN-IBN.
The party is under fire for its alleged misuse of Rs 40 lakhs collected for flood relief operations in the state last year.
KPCC chief R V Deshpande is accused of using the money for office expenses, advertisements and air tickets. He has to come clean on withdrawal Rs 20 lakhs by him also.
