74. Dongargarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Dongargarh falls in Rajnandgaon district and Central region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,94,042 voters in the seat, which includes 97,473 male voters, and 96,562 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Dongargarh recorded a voter turnout of 82.53%. In 2013 the turnout was 82.51%, and in 2008 it was 76.55%.
In 2013, Sarojani Banjare of BJP won the seat by a margin of 4,684 votes (3.2%). Sarojani Banjare secured 45.82% of the total votes polled.
