New Delhi: YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is aggressively looking for support against Telangana. After meeting BJP President Rajnath Singh earlier this week, Jagan on Sunday met CPI(M) chief Prakash Karat.
The series of meetings comes in wake of the tabling of Telangana Bill in Lok Sabha. The House is likely to debate the Telangana Bill on Monday when it reconvenes.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is also slated to hold a dharna at Jantar Mantar on Monday in protest of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Nearly 5000 activists are likely to join him at Jantar Mantar in the protest.
Meanwhile, support for a united Andhra Pradesh has also come in from non gazetted officers of the state who are holding a protest on Monday at Ram Lila Maidan.
