New Delhi: The Union Cabinet reshuffle will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday. The Cabinet rejig was much awaited and comes a few months before elections in politically crucial state Uttar Pradesh.
While some ministers may be elevated, some will face the axe. Senior Ministers Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Manohar Parrikar and Sushma Swaraj will retain their Cabinet posts.
With speculations rife on who will be inducted, there are 15 probable leaders -- six from Rajya Sabha and rest from Lok Sabha. Currently, the Union Cabinet has 65 ministers. Without dropping any minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can induct them all.
Most of them are likely to be inducted as Ministers of State.
