"I have never seen a more coward government in the history of India. The armed forces are ready to face the China forces, why is the government reluctant to act. This is affecting the morale of our forces and the prestige of the country," he added.

Parliament resumed on Monday after a wasted week that saw adjournments and uproar over various issues such as 2G scam, coal scam and the Delhi minor rape. The Opposition, however, is still not in a mood to relent as it attacked the government in both the Houses demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
In a bid to break the deadlock, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath is likely to meet Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj to ensure a smooth passage of the Finance Bill. Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar also met floor leaders of all parties to end the logjam.
"Parliament getting adjourned frequently is not good for democracy. Government should give answer and now just blame the opposition," CPI leader D Raja said earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Kamal Nath, in an interview with CNN-IBN, has dared the Opposition to move a no confidence motion on the floor of the house. "Is that the right kind of opposition? Even if it hurts the people, let's suppose, is that the kind of parliamentary democracy we want? And we must remember that they don't like the government to vote it out. Why can't they say that the government is absolutely rubbish, just bring a no confidence motion," he said.
But the BJP brushed away Nath's remarks and attacked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh instead. "When has the Prime Minister met all political parties to break the deadlock? Parliamentary Affairs minister is just a minister, not the PM, why can't PM meet us and sit down," said BJP leader Yashwant Sinha.
Hitting out at the PM for his remarks that the world is laughing at India due to frequent disruptions of Parliamentary proceedings, Sinha said the government is equally responsible for the smooth functioning of the House. "We have become a laughing stock not because of the Opposition, but because of the government," he said.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Shukla, however, said blaming the PM, who was elected in 2009 defeating the "iron man" (LK Advani) projected by Sinha, would not help. "His (Sinha's) observation can't be seen as an expression of the voice of the people," Shukla said.
