LK Advani meets RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur

Nagpur: Senior BJP leader LK Advani met Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat at the RSS headquarters on Friday. Senior RSS leaders including Bhaiyyaji Joshi were also present in this meeting.

BJP President Rajnath Singh is also expected to meet RSS chief on Saturday.

RSS chief had played peacemaker earlier and averted the Bharatiya Janata Party's crisis by convincing LK Advani to come back into the party fold. Advani withdrew his resignation and had returned to all party posts. The BJP veteran had resigned after Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was anointed as the party Election Campaign Committee chairperson.
