Mumbai: A day before the Bharatiya Janata Party heads for floor test in Maharashtra Assembly, party's state in-charge Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Tuesday said that it was open to support from all the parties except Congress for the state's development.
"BJP welcomes support of all parties except Congress for development of Maharashtra," he said.
BJP, which is the single largest party in the Assembly with 121 MLAs, needs to prove majority in the House to form government in the state. Its erstwhile ally Shiv Sena which wanted to be a part of coalition government in the state has decided to occupy the opposition benches as it filed nomination for the post of Leader of Opposition on Monday evening.
