Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Malviya on Saturday shared a trailer of Prime Minister’s latest interview with a news channel based in south India. In the chat, which will be aired at 8pm on Saturday, PM Modi can be heard saying that neither Modi nor BJP is contesting 2024 polls. “Desh ki janta ka initiative hai (It’s an initiative of the people of the country),” he adds.
The interviewer then goes on to ask the prime minister if he’s satisfied with where we have reached. To this, Modi replies, “The day you see Modi satisfied, take it in writing, that day you need to pay him tributes. For me, running a government does not mean ruling, it means serving.”

PM Modi’s latest interview will be aired a day after the first phase of Lok Sabha polls ended. The prime minister had on Friday asserted that he is getting excellent feedback and it is clear that people across India are voting for the BJP-led NDA in record numbers.
