New Delhi: Promising transparency and e-governance, new Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Tuesday said that he will be interacting with national and international experts to formulate policies and execute them successfully.
"I will ensure that at every level where public has an interface with the ministry, there is complete transparency so that people are free from any corruption," he told reporters as he took charge of the crucial ministry.
Vardhan, whose term as a health minister in Delhi government between 1993-98 is rated highly by his admirers, said that he would speak with officials to get a grip over the work going on presently before he could set his priorities.
"Health is more important than wealth. It is the duty of every government to keep all its citizens healthy. What all I plan to do to achieve is something I can tell you only after some time," he said. He promised more frequent interaction with media to inform public about the ministry's initiatives.
