In a major jolt to Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann, the 9-member committee has rejected his demand of appearing before them with his lawyer.
The panel had on Monday given the Sangrur MP time till July 28 to respond to the charge that his action had compromised security of the Parliament House complex even as it decided to seek the views of experts on the issue.
Mann has to appear before the committee at 3 PM on Thursday.
The AAP MP had stoked controversy last week by shooting a video inside the premises of the Parliament.
