New Delhi: In this election season, money is running high with the parties battling for the ad space. This has led to the war of words between the parties, with the Congress accusing the BJP for using black money for their campaign.
"According to our sources, the BJP has spent Rs 10,000 crore on Narendra Modi's publicity campaign. Only 10 per cent of this money can be accounted as white money. Modi has frequently alleged the Congress of using black money, but all the black money seems to be in their camp," said Union Minister Anand Sharma.
The BJP is running a high tech and expensive election campaign this time around. In all the national dailies, vernacular press, TV channels, majority of the ads are from the BJP. The Congress is seemingly behind Modi as far as the advertising battle is concerned.
Wherever ones goes, it is unlikely that one can miss crossing a poster of Narendra Modi asking people to vote him to the power.
