39. Saiha is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Saiha falls in Saiha district and South region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 20,914 voters in the seat, which includes 9,997 male voters, and 10,917 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Saiha recorded a voter turnout of 75.69%. In 2013 the turnout was 80.72%, and in 2008 it was 78.7%.
In 2013, Dr K Beichhua of MNF won the seat by a margin of 222 votes (1.5%). Dr K Beichhua secured 49.62% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 103 votes (0.8%), registering 36.94% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, INC led in the Saiha Assembly segment of the Mizoram Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
