1. Sheopur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Morena Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sheopur falls in Sheopur district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,24,700 voters in the seat, which includes 1,17,933 male voters, and 1,06,766 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Sheopur recorded a voter turnout of 78.92%. In 2013 the turnout was 75.83%, and in 2008 it was 72.58%.
In 2013, Durgalal Vijay of BJP won the seat by a margin of 16,427 votes (10.38%). Durgalal Vijay secured 41.19% of the total votes polled.
