25. Shivpuri is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Guna Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Shivpuri falls in Shivpuri district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a semi-urban seat.
There are a total of 2,30,818 voters in the seat, which includes 1,23,026 male voters, and 1,07,780 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Shivpuri recorded a voter turnout of 70.16%. In 2013 the turnout was 68.4%, and in 2008 it was 66.44%.
In 2013, Yashodhara Raje Scindhiya of BJP won the seat by a margin of 11,145 votes (7.32%). Yashodhara Raje Scindhiya secured 50.14% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 1,751 votes (1.62%), registering 23.77% of the total votes polled.
