TDP leader Naidu breaks fast after eight days
Chandrababu Naidu was fasting to demand high compensation for rain hit farmers.

Hyderabad: TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday broke his fast, after eight days. On Thursday, he was shifted to the ICU as his health worsened.

The TDP leader was arrested and moved into Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad eight days ago.

The former self-styled CEO of Andhra Pradesh had begun the fast to demand higher compensation for rain-affected farmers, in a bid to reboot his anti-rural image.
