4. Tuirial is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Tuirial falls in Kolasib district and North region of Mizoram. It is categorized as a rural seat.
There are a total of 16,874 voters in the seat, which includes 8,327 male voters, and 8,547 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Tuirial recorded a voter turnout of 82.58%. In 2013 the turnout was 83.24%, and in 2008 it was 81.9%.
In 2013, Hmingdailova Khiangte of INC won the seat by a margin of 239 votes (1.83%). Hmingdailova Khiangte secured 39.12% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 1,022 votes (8.58%), registering 39.58% of the total votes polled.
