Vajpayee won't follow Sonia to Nithari

New Delhi: Former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee has reportedly stalled BJP leaders' plan to visit Nithari village.

Vajpayee was asked why he hadn't visited the village yet. "We have no competition with her (Sonia Gandhi)," he said. Congress chief has visited the place.

Top BJP leaders had planned a visit to the horror-stricken village. They continue to maintain that at least one of their front line leaders is due for a visit soon.

BJP ordered a CBI inquiry into the case where it feels the law and order has failed to deliver.

The BJP also seeks demands President's rule in Uttar Pradesh ahead of assembly elections.
