Allu Arjun has talked about the importance of embracing Indian culture. The Pushpa star was recently speaking to News9 when he admitted that he comes from a generation who feel a little apologetic while owning their own culture. However, he also mentioned that he is able to see a change as far as the younger generation is concerned.
What Did Allu Arjun Say About Youngsters and Culture?
“I have seen youngsters are liking their culture more; they are celebrating their festivals even more. We are starting to own it,” Allu Arjun said.
“We come from a generation who feel little apologetic about owning who we are. I think that is rapidly changing and I think celebrities and even media has got a huge role and responsibility in projecting our culture. We should own our culture,” the Telugu superstar added.
Allu Arjun’s Upcoming Movie – Pushpa 2
Allu Arjun is currently in Vizag where he is shooting for his upcoming movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule. On Monday, a video of the superstar surfaced on social media in which he was seen greeting hundreds of his fans with folded hands on the roads of Vizag. He was showered with flowers as the crowd cheered to welcome him.
Reportedly, the last leg of shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway. Recently, it was reported that makers wrapped up shooting a massive ‘Gangammathalli Jathara’ scene. It is reportedly a song sequence with fight and sentimental elements in it as well. The production of this alleged 30-minute long sequence took 35 days during which the makers reportedly spent a whopping Rs 50 crores on it.
Besides Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Fazil in the lead. Reportedly, Sanjay Dutt will also be making a special appearance in the movie. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
Pushpa 2: The Rule will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.
