Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr NTR are two of the most popular actors in the South film industry. Even though they both belong to the same family, they have had a strained relationship with each other. Now, they were both seen attending the death anniversary of the legend of Telugu cinema, NTR. On January 18, Nandamuri Balakrishna AKA Balayya, paid his homage at his father and politician NTR’s memorial. NTR’s 28th death anniversary was on January 18. Many videos of him from NTR Ghat have appeared online. One of the videos, which is becoming popular on social media, has led to a lot of outrage. This footage included the fact that banners for Jr NTR, Nandamuri Kalyanram, and Harikrishna were seen being dismantled by the members of NBK’s party.
Now, Kodali Venkateswara Rao aka Kodali Nani has expressed his views on this matter. He said, “Jr NTR has nothing to lose, no matter what games Balakrishna and Chandrababu Naidu play.” He was reacting to the removal of Jr NTR flexes at NTR ghat on alleged instructions from Balakrishna. “Balakrishna is removing them because Jr NTR’s influence is growing. He wants to support his son-in-law, Nara Lokesh.”
Tension prevailed at Gudivada when Kodali Nani, along with his supporters and YSRCP leaders, went to the NTR Stadium. Telugu Desam leaders and cadres also reached the stadium. Kodali also added that it has been Balakrishna who has been responsible for the downfall of NTR in the past.
Jr NTR was the first to pay his tributes at NTR Ghat. Later, Nandamuri Balakrishna and his family paid their respects. In a viral video, Balakrishna is seen instructing others around him to go and dismantle the flexes placed in the name of Junior NTR. There have been many rumours that all is not well between Jr NTR and Balakrishna.
Balakrishna scored two hits in 2023 – Veera Simha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari. On the other hand, Jr NTR will be next seen in Devara. He will also be making his Bollywood debut with War 2.
