Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka famed director, Tharun Moorthy is all set to collaborate with Mohanlal for his upcoming project. The film, which will be marking the 360th project of Mohanlal, has been tentatively titled L360. Produced by M Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media has announced the film recently through social media platforms.
While announcing the film on Sunday, Rejaputhra Visual Media and Tharun Moorthy wrote on Instagram, “Unveiling our next film. More updates are on the way! L360”

The announcement garnered a massive response from fans and critics alike, with thousands of likes and comments flooding various social media platforms, showcasing significant enthusiasm and excitement for the upcoming collaboration.
Tharun Moorthy made an impressive debut in 2021 with the crime thriller Operation Java, starring Balu Varghese and Lukman in pivotal roles, exploring the inner workings of a cyber cell police station. His subsequent project, Saudi Vellakka, was selected for the Indian Panorama at IFFI 2022.
Earlier this year, Moorthy unveiled another film written by actor Binu Pappu and backed by Ashiq Usman.
For those unaware, Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy had previously intended to collaborate on Benz Vasu, initially touted as a commercial entertainer and reportedly a remake of a 1980 Malayalam film featuring legendary actor Jayan. However, the project was allegedly dropped due to undisclosed issues.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is currently occupied with filming L2: Empuraan, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer marking his third collaboration with Prithviraj Sukumaran. Following a string of new releases, he is set to reunite with filmmaker Joshiy for the action thriller Rambaan, written by Chemban Vinod Jose.
