Fans of NT Rama Rao Jr, famously known as NTR Jr, are eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming pan-India box-office outing Devara Part 1 directed by Koratala Siva. As per the reports, the team has wrapped up the shoot for the film in Hyderabad and now moved to Goa for the next schedule. The Goa schedule which started on March 19 includes a song and will last for a week. The reports point out that a massive set has also been built up at a Goa beach where a fight sequence will be filmed. The rest of the details related to this schedule are not available as of now in the public domain. This film is expected to be released on October 10.

Besides Junior NTR, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is now poised to make waves in the South Indian film industry with her debut as a female lead in Devara. According to the Deccan Chronicle report, there has been a substantial increase in Kapoor’s fees for the project as she has demanded a staggering Rs 10 crore for Devara. Janhvi faced a challenge while speaking Telugu in the film and she talked about it with The Week. She said,” I never learned Telugu and it is something I am ashamed of. I can understand it phonetically, but I can’t speak it. Yes, it is one of my biggest regrets. This part of me had been dormant for a while. The Devara team is very patient and helpful. They are working with such stalwarts and I am so grateful they are just a call away to help me with my lines.”

Besides Jr NTR and Janhvi, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and others have also acted in this film. Devara will unfold in two parts, with the initial chapter released at the theatres on October 10, 2024, the Dussehra weekend. Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts will produce this magnum opus with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram presenting it. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the film while R Rathnavelu handled the cinematography. As per reports, Devara is being made on a huge budget and the makers are reportedly spending a whopping Rs 140 crore on its VFX.
