The vibrant festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated all over India on Monday. Many celebrities have given fans a glimpse into their own celebrations on social media. Kannada star Yash, who achieved pan-India fame with his KGF franchise, also took a break from shooting of his film Toxic and was seen celebrating the festival with wife Radhika Pandit and their children. A few photos taken on their terrace of the actor’s residence showed Yash flying a kite to celebrate the occasion. Radhika Pandit posted candid photos on Instagram. She wished fans on the special day. “May all your dreams, aspirations, and love for your dear ones soar like a kite,” the caption read. I’m wishing a very happy Makar Sankranti, Pongal, Bhogi, Bihu, and Uttarayan to you all and your families.”

Last year, Yash had spent Makar Sankranti with his parents as well as Radhika and their children. His pictures had gone viral back then as well. The set of pictures showed Yash on a tractor in their ancestral village along with his parents, while other images showed him performing puja along with his family.
Yash was last seen in the 2022 hit KGF: Chapter 2. He is now shooting for Toxic, which is being directed by Geethu Mohandas. There are rumours that Kareena Kapoor Khan would be playing the lead in this Yash film. It hasn’t been formally confirmed yet.
Malayalam actress-turned-director Geethu Mohandas, who has previously helmed films like Moothon with Nivin Pauly and Liar’s Dice, is the writer and director of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. The official title video for the movie was released by the producers in December 2023, marking the official announcement of the film. According to reports, the plot centres on a narcotics syndicate that operates in Goa’s beach districts; the title video even features Yash’s looks in a white-powdery silhouette.
