Pawan Kalyan is one of the leading actors in Telugu cinema. He has acted in many hit films like Gabbar Singh, Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi. He is also the leader of the Jana Sena party. On January 17, he tweeted a letter received by a soldier working in Ireland. The soldier wrote in the letter that Pawan Kalyan is the leader who will lead the state towards progress. As written in the letter, the soldier described that many people like him, who are waiting for Indian citizenship, will vote for Pawan Kalyan. The soldier added that he and other people have supported Pawan Kalyan in 2014, 2019 and will do so in 2024 as well. Pawan Kalyan wrote in the caption, “To my dear soldier who is serving as a ship’s officer in Ireland, I received your letter, and as soon as I read it, The voice was filled with sorrow.. You brought tears.. You made Karyonmukhu..”.

Jana Sena party has, however, shown an abysmal performance in the elections to date. The party had entered into the poll race in Telangana in an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. It faced defeat at all eight seats and lost its deposits as well.

Jana Sena could only leave its impact on the Kukatpally Constituency. The party did not fare well despite Pawan Kalyan’s extensive tour in Telangana. Pawan Kalyan’s flop show has gone beyond politics and covers his stint in the films as well. His past films Bro and Bheemla Nayak failed to find footfall in the theatres. Fans are also disappointed with the fact that Pawan Kalyan is working only on the remakes. His fans opined on social media that he should turn to acting in films with original storylines. According to reports, he has tried to take a safe way (by doing remakes) only after the release of his film Agnyaathavaasi – Prince in Exile. It is because, reportedly, remakes have less risk of failing at the box office. Currently, among the films Pawan Kalyan has in the lineup, only Hari Hara Veera Mallu is based on an original theme.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s production has been delayed for a long time now.
