Washington: Cyber security expert and former Cisco executive Goran Marby has been named the next President and Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
"I am delighted to announce Goran as the new head of ICANN," ICANN Board of Directors Chair Stephen Crocker said in a statement.

Marby, a Swedish citizen, will succeed the current President and CEO Fadi Chehade, whose term ends on March 15, 2016.
