The second edition of India Weaved in Frames (IWIF) photography contest is now open for entries.

The second edition of India Weaved in Frames (IWIF) photography contest is now open for entries. The contest series and exhibition aims at showcasing the great Indian diversity through three frames selected from contests themed on every Indian state and the Union territories.

There are 31 contests in IWIF, one for every Indian state and one for the Union Territories. Participants in the contest can submit photographs showcasing some salient feature of the state they would want to represent. It is not necessary that the contestant should belong to that state and the contest is open for participation from all around the world.

Entries to the contest opened on August 15, 2015 and will close on October 22, 2015. A participant can submit a maximum of five entries through the contest's website www.iwif.in.

IWIF is organised by Immagine, a Kerala-based non profit organisation primarily engaged in photography related activities.

All entries to the contest will also be published on Immagine's Facebook page.

The exhibition is scheduled to be held at Kerala Lalithakala Academy, Ernakulam from January 22 to 26, 2016.

You can see the winning entries from the inaugural 2014 contest here.
