iPhone 17 Slim Model Could Be Costlier Than The iPhone 17 Pro Max: Know More
iPhone 17 series is already grabbing people's attention and there is a lot of intrigue around the rumoured Slim model that Apple could launch.

The iPhone 17 series has already started making the headlines and recently heard rumours about an all new iPhone 17 Slim model likely to replace the Plus moniker next year. It was assumed that Apple will make the like-to-like replacement and in the same range.

The report says that iPhone 17 series launching in 2025 will be given some changes, which includes the end of the Plus model. Apple could have a new iPhone 17 Slim version in the market that will continue to be part of the four device portfolio.

But now things have taken a surprising twist, with latest reports suggesting the iPhone 17 Slim might be pricier than the iPhone 17 Pro Max variant as well.

The news around a Slim model does sound interesting and we talked about the model getting a 6.6-inch screen like the Plus variant but with a thinner body. However, the new report says the iPhone 17 Slim could get a display between the 6.12-inch of the iPhone 17 and the 6.69-inch iPhone Pro Max.

We can also speculate that the iPhone 17 Slim will get the new AI-powered A19 chipset which is expected for a premium variant. For all we know, the Slim moniker could be Apple’s supposed Ultra variant that we have been hearing for a few years. In fact, it has been mentioned that the next year’s iPhone lineup could see Apple’s biggest design overhaul since the iPhone X.

Apple has shown penchant to experiment and try new screen options. We first saw the Mini, then moving to Plus and rumoured to be lining up a Slim version next year.

These models have generally failed to light up the sales numbers for Apple, which explains why they were shunted out after a few years of market launches. The iPhone Plus could be the latest victim of this cutthroat strategy and the Slim is likely to appeal to people who like lightweight phones that are as big as most Android phones but will they be ready to pay big for the new model? We’ll have to wait and see how that goes about.

What's your reaction?
