Lava is expanding its 5G phone lineup in India with the launch of its new Blaze X 5G smartphone. The Blaze lineup has shown some promise in recent years and the promise of a bloatware-free experience in this range is hard to come by. The Lava Blaze X 5G has joined the lineup of other Blaze devices including the Blaze Curve, Blaze 2 5G, Blaze Pro 5G and Blaze 2 Pro. The device comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Lava Blaze X price in India starts from Rs 14,999 for the 4GB+128 GB model, while the 6 GB +128GB model and 8 GB+ 128 GB models cost Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. The Lava Blaze X 5G will be available across channels from July 20. At this price, you also have the Redmi 13, the new CMF Phone 1 and select Redmi Note models in the country.
Lava Blaze X 5G Specifications
The Lava Blaze X 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and has up to 8 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 14 without bloatware or ads which can be a big deal for buyers in this segment. Having said that, Lava will only offer one Android 15 upgrade for the device, along with quarterly security updates for two years.
For the photography lovers, the device comes with a dual camera setup. It is equipped with a powerful 64 MP rear sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor. For better selfies, the Lava Blaze X 5G has a 16 MP front-facing camera.
The device also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, allowing quick refueling for continuous use. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou and USB Type-C.
