Nokia 3 smartphone will be receiving an Android 7.1.1 Nougat update towards August end. Rolling out of the new Android OS update in the Nokia 3 devices was confirmed recently by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer – HMD, in a tweet. This means that the Nokia 3 smartphone, launched back in June will be receiving the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update within a month from now. The new Android upgrade brings smart storage, app shortcuts, new camera app, new emojis, support tab, reset button and moves menu.
Nokia 3 comes with a 5-inch HD 2.5D display along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a MediaTek MTK 6737 SoC and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB. Out-of-the-box, the Nokia 3 runs the Android 7.0 Nougat and draws its juice from a 2650 mAh battery. Nokia 3 also houses an 8-megapixel camera lens for its primary as well as selfie camera. The smartphone is available at a price of Rs 9,499 in offline retail stores as well as online on Croma.
