OnePlus, which introduced its second flagship smartphone a couple of months ago, seems to be all set to announce the launch of another smartphone for the Indian market at its event in Bangalore. While there is no information as to what the company has up its sleeve for the event, rumours suggest the launch of a mini version of the OnePlus 2.
If reports are to be believed, the phone could be called the OnePlus X and feature a 5-inch screen. An image with the letter "X" in the background posted by OnePLus CEO Liu Zuohu on his Weibo account further strengthens the rumours.
Besides, the company is also expected to make some key announcements including the ones around Make in India at the event.
Meanwhile, the company has an open sale scheduled for its flagship OnePlus 2 smartphone. As per the open sale that runs between 12 noon and 1 pm on October 12, buyers will be able to buy the phone without invites.
