OnePlus Watch First Look: Heart Rate, SpO2 Sensor And More Expected on March 23 Launch

The OnePlus Watch is set to launch on Tuesday, alongside the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. The first smartwatch from OnePlus comes after years of speculation and there is a lot of interest around the product. Leading up to the launch on Tuesday, we are getting to know new things about the OnePlus Watch almost every day. Recently, we got to know that the OnePlus Watch won?t run on Google?s Wear OS upon launch and will instead use a smart operating system based on RTOS. Now, we have gotten our first unofficial look at the OnePlus Watch, courtesy of known YouTuber Unbox Therapy, who shared a render of the OnePlus Watch on his Twitter. ?Here?s an EXCLUSIVE look at the #OnePlusWatch,? the YouTuber said.

The image shared by Unbox Therapy shows a circular design with a patterned wrist strap. There are two physical buttons on the right side ? one of which features the OnePlus branding. The overall design of the OnePlus Watch in the render looks similar to the Oppo Watch RX, which is not surprising as both OnePlus and Oppo are owned by the same company, BBK Electronics and were recently said to have merged their hardware R&D operations. The design is also similar to the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, which also comes with a circular dial. However, there is not much to derive from the single image released so far. The image shared by Unbox Therapy was later re-tweeted by OnePlus, saying ?We?ve got a lot more to show on March 23.?

While the official details about the OnePlus Watch are yet to be revealed, the smartwatch has been previously reported to come with a 46mm dial size and will come in two colour options ? Black and Silver. The smartwatch is also reported to come with a heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, IP68 dust and water resistance, and more. The smartwatch is also reported to come with fitness-tracking features and may include swimming modes as well, according to reports. The OnePlus Watch is rumoured to come with 4GB of onboard storage and will include OnePlus? Warp Charge fast charging technology.

OnePlus is hosting a launch event on March 23 where the OnePlus Watch will be unveiled, alongside the OnePlus 9 series smartphones.
