Reliance JioFiber Broadband Offers Unlimited Data At Up To 300Mbps Speeds, Prices Starting Rs 399 And New Free Trial Offer
The new JioFiber broadband plans for home users are priced at Rs 399 for 30Mbps speed, Rs 699 for 100Mbps speed, Rs 999 for 150Mbps speed and Rs 1,499 for 300 Mbps speed. All bundle unlimited data.

Reliance Jio has updated the JioFiber broadband plans for home users and the refreshed benefits include unlimited data usage. The new plans start at Rs 399 per month and JioFiber is also available on a no-condition 30-day free trial as well for new users. The new tariff plans come at a time when JioFiber is competing with internet service providers (ISP) including Airtel Xstream, ACT Broadband, Spectra and Tata Sky Broadband, to name a few. There are now plans that are priced at Rs 399 for 30Mbps speed, Rs 699 for 100Mbps speed, Rs 999 for 150Mbps speed and Rs 1,499 for 300 Mbps speed. Reliance Jio says these are now truly unlimited data plans as well as with unlimited voice calls, thereby removing the earlier data cap that some of these plans had. For instance, the Rs 699 plan that offers 100Mbps speed earlier was unlimited up to 350GB data per month. The upgrade to unlimited data usage should make the JioFiber plans even more attractive for home broadband users. This also gives JioFiber a significant advantage over the Airtel Xstream fiber broadband plans.

At this time, Airtel Xstream’s lowest priced plan is Rs 799 per month which offers 100Mbps speed and up to 150GB data usage per month. If you want unlimited data, you need to add the Rs 299 unlimited data top-up. The entry-spec JioFiber plan at Rs 399 for 30Mbps speeds is significantly more affordable for those who may not have the highest of usage requirements. The next Airtel Xstream plan is priced at Rs 999 plan with 200Mbps speeds. While this speed is slightly more than JioFiber’s Rs 999 plan, Airtel Xstream requires you to add the Rs 299 top-up as well to get unlimited data. Airtel Xstream also has the Rs 1499 plan with 300Mbps speeds, but while JioFiber offers unlimited data at 300Mbps, Airtel requires you to still add the Rs 299 top-up to your subscription.

“JioFiber is already the largest Fiber provider in the country with over a million connected homes, but our vision for India and Indians is much larger. We want to take Fiber to each and every home and empower every member of the family. After making India the largest and the fastest growing country in mobile connectivity with Jio, JioFiber will propel India into global broadband leadership, thereby providing broadband to over 1,600 cities and towns,” says Akash Ambani, Director, Jio.

With the updated JioFiber broadband plans for home users, there are also bundled subscriptions for streaming platforms. This will depend on which plan you pick. The Rs 999 plan offers bundled subscriptions for 11 apps, while the Rs 1499 plan bundles 12 app subscriptions. The apps that are part of the bundle include Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Lionsgate Play and Alt Balaji.

Reliance Jio also says that potential new customers can try the JioFiber broadband service for 30 days—this will be at 150Mbps speeds and they will also get A 4K set top box with the subscription for 10 streaming platforms as a bundle. “If you don’t like the service, we will take it back, no questions asked,” they say.
