12 finalists have been shortlisted for the seventh edition of the Doodle 4 Google - India contest.

12 finalists have been shortlisted for the seventh edition of the Doodle 4 Google - India contest. The competition was open to all students from Class 1 to Class 10 in India and entrants were invited to create their own Google doodle based on the theme "If I could create something for India, I will..."

You can vote for the doodle of your choice on the Doodle 4 Google India website. Public voting opened on October 23 and will close on November 9.

The doodles are grouped in three class groups - Class 1 - 3, Class 4 - 6 and Class 7 - 10 . The final winner will be chosen from among the three group winners. One winner per class group will be selected based on public voting. The winning doodle will be featured on the Google India home page on Children's Day - November 14.

Cartoonist Ajit Ninan and kids' TV anchor Rob are the guest judges for the contest.
