With the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) going on, buyers will be keeping a close eye on the big developments and wait for these launches to happen on our shores. If you have been waiting for some of the big-ticket phone launches to upgrade this year, March 2024 would be the perfect time to pull the trigger.
Brands like Xiaomi, Nothing, Vivo and iQOO among others have already confirmed their plans for the country and what they plan to bring to the market next month. Here’s a closer look at the phones launching in March 2024.
Phones Launching In India In March 2024
Nothing Phone 2a
Nothing is launching its first so-called affordable smartphone in the market called Phone 2a. Design renders of the phone suggest the Glyph interface and LEDs are here to stay but a toned down model means there could be some concessions. Nothing should offer its standard OS out of the box and ensure the design element keeps it unique. Nothing phone 2a is launching in India on March 5, and reports say the phone could be priced under Rs 30,000.
Realme 12+
Realme is launching the vanilla 12+ model in the country on March 6, and we’re expecting a mid-range 5G phone that focuses on design, a circular rear camera module and few more goodies.
Xiaomi 14
Xiaomi is trying to change its flagship strategy in the country, and the new Xiaomi 14 with Leica-powered cameras will be showing its ambition. The phone has launched in China and globally already, Indian users will get their chance to own it later next month when the phone launches on March 7. The new Xiaomi flagship phone is also expected to bring HyperOS out of the box, so there’s more to look forward to next month.
Vivo V30 Series
Vivo’s V-series is getting an early 2024 refresh and this time the company has decided to spread its Zeiss Optics goodness to the mid-range premium lineup. The V30 series will also have a Pro model and the company is likely to talk about the design and premium quotient of the device. Vivo is also launching these phones on March 7 in the country.
iQOO Z9
And finally, iQOO has its new mid-range Z9 phone lined up for a launch in March. The company could compete in the sub-Rs 30,000 segment with the new model that should once again have its eyes set on the power users and also bring improvements in camera. iQOO Z9 is launching in the country on March 12 as per the confirmed teaser.
