Chinese smartphone company Zopo is coming to India with the world's first ever deca-core processor smartphone, the Zopo Speed 8.
The phone will launch in India on July 20, 2016, and is expected to be priced at Rs 31,500. The Zopo Speed 8 will be powered by a MediaTek 2GHz Deca-core Helio X20 MT6797 processor that will be backed by 4GB RAM.
The device will also feature a 5.5 inch Full HD display along with a 21 megapixel rear camera which is powered by Sony IMX230 sensor and a 8 megapixel selfie camera. Zopo Speed 8 was first seen at MWC 2016 (Mobile World Congress) in earlier this year.
The device will be a dual-SIM 4G LTE compatible smartphone that will weigh 136 grams. The Zopo Speed 8 will be the world's first smartphone to have a 10-core processor by MediaTek. The processor used in this smartphone is touted as the fastest processor to be produced by MediaTek and will compete with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and soon to be launched Snapdragon 821 chipset.
