Hina Khan is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie titled ‘Country of Blind’. The film, which was released in the US on October 6, has now received appreciation from the Golden Globe-winning filmmaker Siddiq Barmak. Recently, Siddiq watched the movie and shared that the Hina Khan starrer is ‘enchanting’.
“Rahhat Shah Kazmi’s enchanting film, Country of Blind, emerges as a battleground where love contends with freedom, where the decision to stay or depart teeters on the precipice, and the relentless struggle between blindness and sight reaches its zenith,” he said.
Barmak’s statement on the movie has added to the growing anticipation surrounding this highly anticipated film. The film has already garnered significant attention for its poster release at Cannes film festival and the teaser that released recently.
Country of Blind showcases how a devastating disease robbed a community of their sight, leading each new generation to be born without the gift of sight. Starring Hina Khan and Shoib Nikash Shah in lead roles, the film is directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi. This beautiful story breathes new life into Bollywood with its unique artistic experience.
Releasing the teaser of the movie on her birthday last month, Hina shared, “After the poster launch in Cannes, getting a USA release is massive! I am super excited and cannot wait to see the reaction of our audience. The film is a beautiful cinematic experience and one which is sure to touch hearts. Rahhat really ensured we lived these characters through and through the shoot which was quite amazing!”
