Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak Fame Sayli Salunkhe, Actress Shanti Priya To Join Big Boss 18: Report
Bigg Boss 18 is set to return in the first week of October, with Salman Khan hosting, and a buzz of excitement surrounds the contestants set to enter the house.

Bigg Boss 18 gears up to make its return in the first week of October. And with it, Salman Khan will be back to host the show, bringing his signature charisma and energy that fans love. Since the release of the first teaser, the buzz has been electric as everyone is wondering which contestants will step into the Bigg Boss house this season.

According to an updates page called Big Boss Tak, a preliminary list of contestants has emerged, igniting even more anticipation.

The confirmed participants include Nia Sharma, Shoaib Ibrahim and Nyrraa Banerji. They’ll be joined by Meera Deosthale, Sayli Salunkhe and Avinash Mishra. Rounding out the lineup are Debchandrima Singha Roy, Chaahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar and Shanti Priya.

The page also mentioned that Isha Koppikar and Dheeraj Dhoopar, who were initially considered for the show, have decided to bow out.

Fans are excited to see Shilpa and Shanti join the cast this season. Shanti, who starred alongside Akshay Kumar in his debut film Saugandh in 1991, is set to make her reality TV debut with Salman Khan’s show.

On the other hand, Sayli has gained significant attention for her performances in popular shows like Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si and Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak. In an interview with Pinkvilla earlier this year, she shared that she had been approached to join Bigg Boss not once, but twice. Sayli expressed her reluctance, stating, “I don’t like my personal life being discussed out in the open. I am very true to myself and like to keep my personal and professional lives separate. I was offered Bigg Boss twice, but I turned it down because I am not a Bigg Boss material. I would love to participate in a dance-based or stunt-based reality show.”

“I think I can’t contribute to the show. I’d end up crying in the first few episodes and wouldn’t give any content to the show. I wondered why was I even offered the show in the first place,” she had added.

Sayli further emphasised that when celebrities’ personal lives are discussed, it can significantly impact their families, particularly their parents.

According to a reports, several well-known figures from television, including Shehzada Dhami, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Veer Mehra, Zaan Khan, Karam Rajpal, and Bollywood actress Padmini Kolhapure, are currently in the final stages of negotiations to join the show.

Bigg Boss 18 is scheduled to premiere on October 6 and will be broadcast on Colors TV, as well as available for streaming on Jio Cinema.
