Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the best fielders around the world, and Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium recently witnessed his brilliance. During the IPL 2024 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT), Kohli pulled off a sensational runout to dismiss GT’s Shahrukh Khan. While his spectacular fielding effort left the audience in loud cheers, his RCB teammate Cameron Green was also shocked. During the 13th over of Gujarat’s innings, Rahul Tewatia pushed the ball towards the off-side. As he tried to steal a run, Kohli, already with the ball in hand, took aim at the stumps and dismissed Shahrukh batting on 37 off 24 balls.

While the former RCB skipper roared in joy, Cameron Green couldn’t believe it, and his expression said it all.
Green gave Kohli a quick flying kiss, still in disbelief over what Kohli had accomplished. An X post shared a picture of the Australian cricketer’s reaction, drawing a hilarious comparison with Chatur Ramalingam from Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots.

Social media users also couldn’t help but agree with the ‘same to same expressions’. A user wrote, “Close enough,” while another commented, “Same energy.”
RCB’s sharp bowling takes on GT
RCB showcased a brilliant fielding and bowling effort on Saturday, managing to restrict GT to 147 runs. Chasing 148, the Faf du Plessis side cruised to a satisfactory 152/6 in just 13.4 overs. While Kohli smashed 42 off 27 balls, the RCB captain also scored 64.
In the first half, GT was bowled out in 19.3 overs, with double wickets credits going to Yash Dayal, Vyshak Vijay Kumar, and Mohammed Siraj each. With the convincing four-wicket victory, RCB has now climbed to the seventh position on the IPL 2024 points table. However, the question still remains whether RCB, with 8 points to their name, will still make it to the qualifying stage.
Meanwhile, the Kolkata Knight Riders remain in the top position with 16 points in 11 matches, and the Rajasthan Royals are in the second position. It is followed by the Chennai Super Kings in the third position and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the fourth.
