In another Peak Bengaluru moment, a woman shared an X (formerly Twitter) post showcasing how flatmates in the city handle the daily responsibilities of the house. Now, if you assumed that it could just be about a random WhatsApp group where they allocate the duties, you are in for a great surprise.

The post includes a screenshot of a spreadsheet that featured a detailed five-column document, titled ‘The ultimate list of chores you did not sign up for.’ The table lists who is the charge of each task, along with funny and unusual explanations of why the duty is important.

Some hilarious reasons are, “Pay the gas bill on time, or we might end up cooking dinner over a campfire in the living room.” Another one reads, “You’re the fridge boss. Keep it cool or face the wrath of melting ice cream.”
