'Go to Gym Instead': Cricket Fans Accuse Rohit Sharma of Editing Training Pics to Look 'Fit'
Rohit Sharma’s training photos for the Sri Lanka series have ignited a frenzy online after fans speculated that the Hitman might have edited his images.

Indian ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma is ramping up his preparations for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka. In a recent social media update, Rohit posted photos of his intense training sessions, aiming to showcase his dedication. But it seems the pictures sparked more chatter than expected. Sharp-eyed fans spotted something unusual: the photos appeared to be photoshopped!

The situation took an interesting turn when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted the same training images. Observant fans noticed some curious discrepancies between Rohit’s personal photos and those shared by the BCCI. The most glaring issue seemed to be with Rohit’s right arm, which looked oddly curved and possibly digitally altered. Additionally, his belly appeared significantly sleeker in the images he posted compared to those released by the BCCI.

The internet went wild with these observations. Rohit swiftly deleted the photos from his social media account, but by then, screenshots comparing the two sets of images had already gone viral. The comments were both humorous and critical. One user remarked, “If there are such insecurities, work on your body Brother.” Another quipped, “Why go to gym when you can do photoshop” The playful banter continued with “Same same but different” and “Ek zoom in vala hai ek zoom out vala hai,” highlighting the differences between the photos.

Amidst this online frenzy, Rohit also drew attention for a different reason. Recently, he was spotted cruising the streets of Mumbai in his luxurious Range Rover. Rohit, who has been on a break since India’s triumphant T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, was seen with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira. As he prepares to leave for Sri Lanka for the 3-match ODI series, fans noticed a quirky detail: the car’s number plate matched Rohit’s highest ODI score, 00264.
