India has a rich cultural heritage and we don’t doubt it. From mesmerising snow-capped mountains in Himachal Pradesh and vibrant palaces in Rajasthan to scenic backwaters of Kerala, the country has a lot to offer to tourists. Recently, a man was all praise for Kashmir, which is often referred to as ‘Paradise on Earth’ due to its breathtaking landscape. The person, who is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay, shared a bunch of jaw-dropping photographs, leaving the internet stunned.
The man named Sandipan even compared Kashmir to Switzerland and rated the valley with more points. He, who recently concluded his week-long trip to the beautiful Indian union territory, went on to add on X (previously Twitter) that Kashmir has more natural beauty to offer as compared to Switzerland.
“I’ve been to Switzerland, and I can say that Kashmir has so much more natural beauty to offer – the last week of travel has just made me feel so much more at peace,” Sandipan wrote. He further noted, “Jotting my itinerary down, as a memoir to self, but also to nudge folks to explore the pretty hills up there.”

The man uploaded three photos, the first one of which shows him standing in a bed of yellow flowers with beautiful hills in the backdrop. The second photo offers a sneak peak into a snow-covered mountain range. Last but not the least, Sandipan’s third picture features a pretty houseboat floating on the popular Dal Lake.
The post shared by the IIT-IIM alumnus went viral in no time and garnered close to 10 lakh views.
Replying to his own post, Sandipan said, “PS: We went as a family, and while you can pick, you can do the locations separately, recommended is to go via a local agent, who’d book your hotels and give you a car to explore around at your ease. Total cost – Rs 1.3 lakh for a family of 4 for 6 days (excluding flights)”.
In his concluding tweet, the man shared, “All in all, I would love to do this again – truly a heaven on Earth, this place.”
