In Donald Trump's Bizarre Automated Tweet, An Election Update For ‘Thala’ Ajith’s Fans
The post has an appeal for followers to get ready to vote for Donald Trump and in a rather unusual turn, it targeted Ajith’s fan account among other random profiles.

Former US President Donald Trump inadvertently tagged a fan account for Tamil film icon Thala Ajith Kumar on X. This peculiar event took place within the context of an automated messaging spree that intended to build support for his presidency for the upcoming November elections. The said post of Trump sparked a number of reactions from Ajith’s fans, some of whom were confused about the hilarious mix-up.

This post from October 3, trying to promote voting, was viewed by approximately 7 lakh users. It contained an appeal for followers to get ready to vote for him and in a rather unusual turn, it targeted Ajith’s fan account among other random accounts. The automated nature of the text, however, resulted in confusion for the audience, especially for the fans of Ajith who were not able to understand why they were included in the political campaign initiated by a politician from the USA.

The message read, “I’ll send you IMPORTANT ELECTION UPDATES for North Carolina. Make sure you are ready to VOTE FOR DONALD J. TRUMP by November 5th.”

A user humorously mentioned, “Donald Trump is seeking help from AK. Simple!”

Another user asked, “What on earth is happening here?”

Yet another user jokingly said, “Definitely I will vote for you…but you have to do one thing please say “kadavuley ajitheyyy”…”

“The reach of kadavul is beyond expectations”, read a comment.

This comes after another Indian man was given a similar tag and he answered it with a twist that went viral. Trump’s official account tagged the man directly encouraging him to vote for him in North Carolina. To which the user replied: “Thanks, but you will never be my President. Kamala Harris will never be my President either. Actually, I am from India.”

This situation led to a lot of reactions as users were shocked to get a political message from a US Election campaign. Some people started to question the effectiveness of using automated services to convey messages to individuals within other countries.
