Reacting to the viral recipe, an Instagram user said, "Definitely, making this for a party".

Cakes are nowadays taking up the role of edible illusions as they are so realistic that you might mistake them for something else entirely. From hyper-realistic cakes that make you do a double-check to jaw-dropping creations, bakers are taking cake artistry to a whole new level. Recently, a video of a special cheesecake called the Terrazzo Cheesecake took the internet by storm, leaving users mesmerised by its delicate designs and vibrant colours.

Instagram handle Matklubben Trondheim spilled the beans on the secrets behind the mesmerising Terrazzo Cheesecake in a recent post. In the detailed caption, the baker starts by preparing a pineapple juice mixture by soaking some gelatin sheets in cold water. Then, pineapple juice and sugar are boiled in a saucepan and gelatin sheets are added. As soon as the sheets are dissolved, the mixture is ready.

For the crust of the cake, the recipe calls for crushed biscuits, melted butter and brown sugar to form a delectable base. After firmly pressing the mixture into the bottom of the pan, it is placed in the fridge.

In the video, the baker adds chopped, multicoloured jellies to white cheese cream. The cream is prepared by whipping the sour cream, heavy cream and cream cheese until fluffy. Once combined with the prepared pineapple juice mixture, the creamy concoction is poured over the biscuit crust. After keeping it in for 4 hours, your Terrazzo Cheesecake is ready to be savoured.
